Question from thename’s♥L: Do you have any creative ideas of how I may light the tables at my wedding reception?
It is going to be in an indoor reception with large round tables for my guests to sit at. I would like to use candles to light up each table, however I’d prefer something like an artificial or battery-operated candle over a real candle (to avoid the risk of starting a fire.)
…Any ideas or creative suggestions?

You could do a pretty vase filled with water and floating candles, well the battery operated ones, like this: http://candlessconces.com/floating-candle-vases or http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.thegardenerseden.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/candles-floating-in-a-bowl-of-cranberries.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.thegardenerseden.com/%3Ftag%3Dtable-centerpiece-with-floating-candles-and-cranberries&usg=__v10K-2wdYA6xIgyZ6iN-5AezQWo=&h=472&w=640&sz=103&hl=en&start=0&sig2=cKr4EQQVsUrH_yn_FA1kaA&zoom=1&tbnid=IOh7AgeA0EaNLM:&tbnh=128&tbnw=170&ei=UEsmTsfFKYu_gQf5_bhc&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dfloating%2Bcandles%2Bin%2Bbowl%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1T4TSND_en___US412%26biw%3D1463%26bih%3D545%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=172&vpy=221&dur=4277&hovh=193&hovw=262&tx=167&ty=139&page=1&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:8,s:0&biw=1463&bih=545
just with flameless candles. Hope this helped, hope your wedding is AMAZING, and God bless.:)

Perhaps a year-round Christmas shop would have the brass candleholders with battery-operated white candles that are designed to be put on window sills at holiday time. Ask about getting extra bulbs, because they break easily if the candle gets tipped over.

Some paper lanterns are really pretty and have battery operated light inside.

They are water activated diamond lights. you can add a little food coloring to the water to make them shine different colors.
These are good and popular – when is your wedding?
